Spider-Man is about to be overwhelmed by the two Hobgoblins, when he is saved by the new Goblin (Norman Osborn), in an armor suit.
The original Hobgoblin (Kingsley) manages to escape, while Ned Leeds is captured.
In the finale it is revealed that Kingsley was himself conditioned by the Queen Goblin.
