Homer invites a homeless man over for dinner after Grandpa Abe refuses to leave the retirement home.
Old Sam is grateful for the invitation and leaves home happy.
The next day, the Simpsons learn in the papers that Sam owned Duff's Brewery and is dead.
He bequeathed his shares to Homer.
Homer visits the factory and discovers that the minority shareholder (49%) is none other than Montgomery Burns, his boss.
It takes Homer a short time to discover that he is a bad entrepreneur and Burns convinces him to sell him his shares for $ 300.
Soon after it turns out that Sam Duff is not dead and everything goes back to normal.
