The X-Men face off against the Brotherhood at a military base and Blob is accidentally hit by Magneto-controlled missiles.
Blob feels betrayed by Magneto and returns to the circus.

The Ice Man abandons his current "snowy" aspect for the better known frozen aspect.
Xavier has left the command to Cyclops while researching Europe.
The Beast temporarily leaves the group to fight in professional wrestling.
His first opponent, however, is the mutant Unus, whose power is that he cannot be touched.
Hank's debut is therefore a humiliating defeat.
Unus however is not satisfied with his wrestling career and wants to join the Brotherhood.
He confronts the X-Men for publicity, but ends up trapped on top of a skyscraper by Angelo.
