Episode set in ancient Greece, with Homer in the role of Homer.
Children want to hear his fairy tales, but not the usual Iliad and Odyssey.
The first story concerns the labors of Hercules (Bart), which he manages to perform by cheating.
The second shows the trial between Hades (Homer) and Persephone (Marge), who sued the god for kidnapping.
Athena (Lisa) absolves Hades, since he did not violate the law of the gods.
The last story shows Perseus (Bart) hunting Medusa (one of Marge's sisters).
At the end of the stories the children, bored, start listening to Aesop's fairy tales (Ned Flanders).
