Wetworks, the Wearing Industries team, is chasing the vampire Prince Drakken to eliminate him.
Thanks to a deception by Craven, the leader of the I.O., they end up clashing with the WildC.A.T.s and Drakken manages to escape.
Wearing, meanwhile, consolidates his role within the werewolf community.

In the main vampire lair, Drakken attacks his sister, the Blood Queen, with an army.
The Blood Queen and her bodyguard Red are forced to flee.
Dane Jackson vents in the desert after the defeat with the WildC.A.T.s and mourns the loss of Flattop and Crossbones, who died in the battle with Drakken.
Pilgrim, on his orders, follows Mother to her quarters.
She discovers that their companion speaks with a mysterious, incorporeal entity (an AI?).
Pilgrim also discovers that she has the power to turn invisible.

Wetworks infiltrates a vampire base, but finds only corpses.
This is the house of Raithan, who sided with the Queen during the civil war with Drakken.
Drakken takes revenge by having his son killed.
Pilgrim, in advance, must face a future version of herself, who wants to kill her, but ends up disappearing in time with her.
Drakken reveals that he invented the symbiotes in the possession of the Wetworks, then is crowned the new King of the Vampires.
A series that was not very successful, despite Portacio's commitment.
The characters are not given much depth and the sides involved are excessive.
The plot was then shamelessly copied in the “Underworld” movie cycle, which began in 2003, removing the superhero part from the board.
