Homer decides to escape Springfield with the whole family, to avoid paying for the damage done by Bart to the church.
Mr. Burns is offering some employees the chance to retire early if they agree to move to Hawaii.
Homer accepts the offer with Lenny and Carl.
When they arrive on the island they discover that it is made entirely of garbage.
Burns wants to exploit them to obtain government grants.
Before leaving, Bart buys a trained falcon from the restaurant captain, which turns out to be very authoritarian.
The falcon will save the Simpsons from the island, thanks to the help of a flock of seagulls.
Burns agrees to rehire the workers in exchange for the falcon.
