Sideshow Bob is released from prison due to overcrowding.
As soon as he leaves he is hit by a van and has to undergo facial surgery.
Bart rightfully fears for his life, but doesn't know how to recognize him.
With Lisa's help he investigates the new faces in town.
He eventually discovers that Bob still has the same face, but has disguised himself as a poodle to surprise him.
Sideshow Mell also had the same idea, to protect Krusty.
Mell saves Bart's life by capturing Bob.
