Here he finds many other citizens in the same conditions and they exchange stories of their reasons.
Sideshow Mel was fired for being too handsome and therefore a danger to Krusty.
Patty, Marge's sister, was fired from the DMV because she can't drive when she's relaxed.
Willy was fired from school for throwing a log into Skinner's office.
Winchester was fired from the force for damaging an ice cream truck.
Mayor Quimby was fired from City Hall over a problem with cheerleaders.
In the end Homer suggests an idea to the mayor to give everyone their jobs back, but a few days later he is fired again.
