In England a vampire is claiming innocent victims and Lady Chrichton (Spitfire) and her father are informed.
Captain America receives a coded request for help, which he hasn't heard for a long time.
While flying to England, Cap remembers the times of the Invaders, during the war, his comrades and their enemies.
The Invaders team consisted of Cap, Namor, The Human Torch (the first, the android), Toro, Spitfire, Bucky and Union Jack.
The villains were: Master Man, Blue Bullet, The Face, Agent Axis, Asbetsos Lady, The Warrior Woman and the Scarlet Beetle.
The request came from Lord Falsworth, Union Jack, now reduced to a wheelchair, while Lady Chrichton has lost her powers with old age.
Captain America's prime suspect is Baron Blood, brother of Union Jack.
When Cap inspects the tomb, he discovers that the body in the coffin is not the Baron, but a woman who has been dead for 12 years.
Captain America returns to Lady Chrichton and meets her son Kenneth and his best friend Joey Chapman.
That night Cap is attacked by Baron Blood, but he expected it.
Despite this, Cap suffers the effect of the vampire's hypnosis, who is ready to bite him.
