The Blood Baron's attempt to bite Captain America fails due to the chain mail he wears.
The bite, however, breaks the hypnosis and they fight and put him to flight.
Kenneth Crichton tells his friend Joey Chapman the story of his vampire great-uncle and how the attack on his mother is the reason for the transfusion made with the blood of the Human Torch that gave her the powers.
It is revealed soon after that Baron Blood is hiding in the village with the appearance of Dr. Cromwell.
Lord Falsworth puts on the Union Jack costume to confront his brother, but suffers a heart attack from arguing with Lady Crichton.
Dr. Cromwell arrives to cure him, takes off his disguise and tries to bite him.
Surprisingly agile, Union Jack manages to hold out until Captain America arrives.
Captain America resists hypnosis this time and beheads Baron Blood.
Union Jack takes off his mask, revealing Kenneth's friend Joey Chapman.
Lord Falsworth dies during the cremation of the Baron's remains.

While at the hairdresser, Wasp receives a telepathic summons and in her haste transforms without the costume, flying away naked.
The other Avengers also receive the same summons.
They congregate near a spaceship remotely piloted by Drax the Destroyer, Moondragon's father, who is in danger (Wasp is now wearing a napkin).
The spaceship takes them to the alien planet Ba-Bani, where Moondragon and Drax await them to face an invading army.
The battle is easily won, then Moondragon hosts them in her city.
When Captain America and Wasp meet the leaders of the enemy army and discover that they are two ordinary traders, they begin to suspect a scam by Moondragon.
While the others pursue their investigations separately, Moondragon seduces Thor.

Dr. Langkowski (Sasquatch, but incognito) is conducting an experiment with a modified reflector.
When they activate it, Ben Grimm, the Thing appears.
After taking him to the base, Langkowski's colleagues begin to die one after the other (clear reference to the horror movie "The Thing").
The injured guest is revealed to be the Super-Skrull.
