The Simpsons discover that an old Olmec lives in the ancient head, a gift from Mr. Burns.
The old man chooses Bart as his replacement, but he tries to convince him to choose Homer.
With Lisa's help he convinces the old man that the god he is waiting for has appeared, predicting the end of the world.
Mr. Burns, who has hidden a bug in his head, decides to pay the return ticket to the old man, after discovering that he is older than him and risks losing the record.
Shortly afterwards Homer meets the real god in the head, convincing him to spare humanity by offering him a beer.
