The Gen13 were captured by Trance and his ESPs, thanks to the help of Caitlin, who was conditioned by him.
Trance wants to subdue them too to deal with some incoming threat, related to Roxy's Qeelocke.
The alien pet reveals unsuspected teleportation powers and brings Anna, the guys' governess, into battle.
Anna is an android and manages to knock out Trance, allowing the group to free themselves.
Once the battle is over, Lynch is contacted by Michael Cray, to attack Miles Craven in Gamorra.

Marc Slayton, Reed and Jodi reach the ranch of Link, an old friend of Marc and his colleague in Stormwatch.
Marc asked him for help in understanding his physical condition after his apparent death.
Link discovers that Marc's Cherubic origins have eliminated the Gen Factor from his blood, giving him back his original strength.
After the discovery they are attacked by Stormwatch, who wants to arrest Backlash.
The Stormwatch Team is led by Battalion, joined by Fuji, Hellstrike, Fahrenheit and Cannon.
