Having recovered her ninja gear from the Westchester school, Kitty returns to being Shadowcat, trained by Ogun in the ninja arts.
Ms. Marvel, returned to life during the Gala, returns home with the help of Emma Frost, but continues to collaborate with the remaining X-Men: Synch, Talon and Rasputin IV (from the future).

Madelyne creates a new group, the Dark X-Men, consisting of Emplate (Monet St. Croix's brother), Azazel (Nightcrawler's father), Gimmick, Gambit and Maggott.
At the service of Orchis they also find Albert, the robot built in the shape of Wolverine, who kills Havok.
