Cole Cash viene assoldato per rintracciare un tesoro da due sconosciuti.
Too late he discovers that his target is Ladytron (Maxine Manchester), who after leaving the Church of Gort is hunted by its members.
The two unknown men who hired Grifter are the leaders of the Church and try to kill them.
Spartan discovers from a hologram of Lord Emp that he is his universal heir, therefore the new owner of the Halo.
Ladytron and Grifter destroy the members of the Church of Gort.

Maul and VooDoo receive a message from Spartan, informing them of Lord Emp's funeral and a future summoning of the Wildcats.
During the funeral Spartan, who has now taken the identity of Jack Marlowe, meets Jackson King who warns him that he will be monitored by Stormwatch.
Halo moves its headquarters to Los Angeles and holds a press conference to announce a new company policy.
Noir now works for Halo, secretly.
Ladytron and Grifter visit Spartan.
