The Gen13s hid on an island after the troubles they had in New York.
Just before a storm hits the island, John Lynch and Alex Fairchild have a violent argument, unleashing their power.
At the end of the storm the group notices that Sarah and Roxy are missing.

While trying to find Sarah and Roxy, Caitlin, Bobby and Grunge find a giant baby.
The baby says he is a scientist, Gideon Spunctry, who has discovered a formula for rejuvenation.
The formula has a side effect of body expansion and does not seem to want to stop rejuvenation.
The boys decide to help him solve the problem, but the laboratory explodes, without revealing the outcome of the cure.
Meanwhile, Alex and John have discovered that Roxy and Sarah have run away to New York.

Alex Fairchild leaves for New York in search of Roxy and Sarah.
The girls reached Roxy's stepmother's house.
Sarah would like to find Teresa again, the beautiful girl she met during her previous visit to New York.
Alex reaches Gloria Spaulding's apartment and recognizes her.
In fact, they had a relationship twenty years earlier.
Before Roxy can understand the consequences of that revelation, they are attacked by IO agents, who however did not expect Alex's presence and powers.
Having escaped the attack, Gloria reveals to Roxy that she is her real mother and that Alex is her father.
Roxy doesn't take the discovery well and even ends up arguing with Caitlin, her stepsister.
After their return to the island, John Lynch leaves the group with Alex.
