Authority and Planetary face the same threat, but separately.
Doc Brass's Computer, kept in the secret vaults of Planetary, has been reactivated by a mad scientist infiltrated the organization.
As the Authority faces off against the army of self-replicating robots it has created, Elijah Snow manages to shut down the Computer.
During the mission we discover that Jenny and Elijah had sex in 1939, but both of them don't remember the details.
Planetary and Authority know each other, but they don't trust each other.

After Jenny Sparks' death, a diary is found that tells her story, from the founding of the Authority in February 1999.
Jenny has already convinced Midnighter and Apollo to join Stormwatch Black, which includes herself, Jack Hawksmoor and Shen.
Together with Shen, she reaches Doctor in Amsterdam, but has some difficulty convincing him, who has sunk into depression.
Jenny shoots herself in the head and forces him to bring her back to life with magic, to convince him.
Jack and Shen, shortly after, encounter a future version of Engineer, who is looking for Jenny.
