Captain America visits Jeff Mace, revealing to the doctor how the Patriot replaced him, following the death of the first replacement.
Meanwhile Nomad is on the trail of Alex Gentry, Porcupine, who is at the service of the new Secret Empire.
Nomad is defeated and captured.
Captain America is challenged to free him, but as he defeats Porcupine Jeff Mace gets worse and arrives just in time to say goodbye.

The Avengers investigate the Black Specters near Cape Canaveral aboard Janet Van Dyne's yacht.
They intervene when the rocket platform explodes, attacked by Rocketeers.
Further investigation leads them to discover that the Rocketeers are actually Black Specters.
They are stopped, but Wasp finds herself trapped in the rocket that just took off.
