While flying to Sydney for modeling work, Jean Grey comes into telepathic contact with a SHIELD agent with important information about the alien threat.
When the agent is killed, Jean and Cole get to know each other and begin to collaborate.
Aboard a yacht, Jean and Cole confront the Brood, without discovering that they are collaborating with Sinister, who is holding Zealot captive.
Cole Cash and Jean Grey defeat the Brood and free Zealot.
