Confused and dreamlike story, difficult to distinguish reality from hallucinations.
Captain America, Nomad, Falcon and Arnie are attacked by Mother Superior and Baron Zemo.
Mother Superior reveals that she is the daughter of the Red Skull, now old and dying in a bed.

Not a very successful story, which sees the Beast and an old flame, Vera, at the center.
A Skrull poisons her, then blackmails the Avengers into getting him the Resurrection Stone, an artifact created on a distant planet that can bring the dead back to life.
The stone has been divided into three parts and in the search the Avengers realize how dangerous and devious its power is.
Eventually the Beast decides to destroy it and not save Vera, who is not dead, but in a coma.

Aurora, Snowbird, Shaman and Box come to help Alpha Flight against Omega Flight.
During the fight, Guardian turns Shaman's medicine bag upside down, freeing the parallel dimension it contains.
In an attempt to stop its expansion and defeat Guardian, Shaman must sacrifice his daughter and leave her imprisoned in the other dimension.
