After the vampires attack, as a result of the night created by the Dark Force Dimension, Captain America has assembled a new team of Avengers.
The improvised group includes, in addition to Cap himself, Hercules, Azmat, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) and Quicksilver.
They are attacked by a helicarrier full of vampires.
The vessel is commanded by Baron Blood, an old enemy of Cap's from World War II.
