Meanwhile, a mysterious mutant is hunting young mutants in the forests of Oregon.
Nightcrawler calls Logan, Anne Marie and Remi to a hospital in Mississippi to grant the dying wish of a terminally ill mutant child.
After the child's death they need to isolate themselves and reach an orphanage in Louisiana known to Gambit.
Some young mutants reach them seeking protection from the mysterious mutant who is hunting them.
