An extreme and shocking work by Peter David and George Perez, produced by an independent publishing house, Epic Comics.
The topics covered are certainly not suitable for the classic publishing houses for which the two artists worked (DC and Marvel Comics).
Despite the topics covered, there are no full nudes in the comic.
The story begins with the shooting of a Snuff-Movie, a film with a high erotic content in which the characters are tortured and killed live.
The actress is the victim, who ends up beheaded during a sex scene.
Juanita Jean, called J.J., is a hardcore model and actress who works for photographer Ernie Schultz, a robust and menacing-looking man who cares a lot about her.
Ernie was a news photographer, but now he dedicates himself exclusively to artistic nudes and erotic videos.
While getting rid of the beheaded actress's body, two of the criminals have an accident and the body is discovered.
J.J. he learns the news while he is walking with his nun sister and recognizes the victim as his friend Wendy.
Since there was a photograph taken from the film with the body, the male actor is also killed by the criminal organization that makes the films.
The police seem unwilling to search for the criminals, so J.J. asks Ernie for help.
The two don their costumes and become Sachs (J.J.) and Violens (Ernie).
