Matt Murdock pretends to have a sighted twin brother, Mike Murdock.
Matt wants to ask Karen Page to marry him, but doesn't know which version to do it.
Meanwhile Daredevil finds himself involved in a war between criminal gangs, that of the Chief and that of the Marauder.
Karen is kidnapped by the Marauder's men, just before Matt makes the statement.
Daredevil tracks her down as a prisoner of the Chief, but allows herself to be captured, pretending to have only disguised himself as a superhero.
Left alone, he easily breaks free and attacks criminals (of both gangs), like the real Daredevil.
The Chief threatens to strike Karen Page again if he is hindered.
The kidnapping convinces Matt Murdock not to propose to Karen again.
