Spider-man faces off against The Golden Beetle, an agent of the Maggia (Marvel's mafia).
The Golden Beetle, with its vehicle in the shape of a golden beetle, steals a large amount of radioactive gold from the University, wrapping staff (including Debbie, Peter Parker's enamored secretary) in gold foil.
Peter Parker frees them, then defeats the Golden Beetle.
The Beetle and Spider-man get involved in a shootout and fall into the sea, where the Golden Beetle disappears.
History without too many pretensions, well done.
The graphics are nice.

Reed Richards conducts experiments on the negative zone, making contact with Captain Marvel.
The Skrulls discover this and attack the Baxter Building, as they too are conducting similar experiments.
Reed uses his portal to free Captain Marvel and together they defeat the skrulls.
The story is interesting and well done.
Important for continuity, since with the release of Mar-vell he is in fact permanently separated from Rick Jones.
