The Black Cat wants to have superpowers to help Spider-Man.
After several attempts she is contacted by mysterious individuals who take her to the laboratories of Doctor Stillwell, the deceased creator of the Fly.
The Black Cat is empowered (strangely she is always naked during testing), but she still doesn't know her power.
Eventually she discovers that Kingpin is behind his benefactors.
Before he can tell Spider-Man, he's off to the Secret Wars.

The car goes off the road and explodes.
Kitty is unharmed and reluctant to save Emma Frost, unconscious.
Storm returns to Westchester and has sex with Sebastian Shaw.
Emma convinces Kitty of her true identity and together they go to free the X-men.
When Kitty enters the school, Logan is already free, then it's up to the others.
Leland is easily defeated.
