Valentina
"Who loves who?"
publication date: 1996
pencil and story: Guido Crepax
Five years after her departure, Effi returns to Valentina's life.
As soon as she sees Valentina's old camera, Effi pretends to be photographed and undresses.
Philip Rembrandt comes home and interrupts them.
Philip remembers their previous meeting, in which Effi was in danger and he had visions of their relationship.
Valentina and Effi leave Philip alone at home, to work.
Philip gets bored and decides to watch a VHS that Effi keeps in her backpack.
It is a recording of a lecture, but Philip notices that a man from the audience is the same one who was guarding their home shortly before.
Philip suspects there is a link between this man and Effi's assassination attempts five years earlier.
That evening they go together to the first screening of the film dedicated to Valentina.
Valentina does not recognize herself in the character she inspired, but both Effi and Philip note evident similarities.
Back home, Philip fears a hitman and convinces the girls to sleep together in another room.
Valentina hopes in the advances of the young woman and ends up being granted.
To interrupt the relationship comes a shotgun, which breaks a glass.
The blow fails, but confirms Philip's fears.
The following night Philip manages to blind the killer with his mysterious psychic powers.
Valentina doesn't notice anything and continues to sleep.
Effi thanks Philip for the rescue by making love with him.
In this story Guido Crepax seems to be criticizing the film dedicated to Valentina, but I don't know exactly which one he is referring to.
Two films and a TV series dedicated to his character were made and all had already been made, in 1996.

"The Spy"
publication date: 1996
pencil and story: Guido Crepax
Philip Rembrandt sees Effi on the street, without her noticing.
He immediately informs Valentina of the meeting, but she does not believe him, since the girl has sworn to return to Germany.
Philip sees her the next day and this time Valentina trusts her.
Valentina tracks Effi and secretly follows her to Lake Como, where she meets up with a Chinese.
Here Valentina witnesses the two attempt to kidnap an orangutan, which almost manages to overwhelm Effi.
The next day Valentina introduces herself to Effi.
Effi reveals that she is a spy who wants to steal AIDS research from the veterinary institute where she is working.
Her motivations are a bit confused and Valentina compares her to the Rosenbergs, the couple of American researchers who in the 1950s provided the data for the atomic bomb to the Russians, thus avoiding American hegemony in nuclear power.
A few days later Effi invites Valentina to the hotel, where he waits for her with Mr. Ciu, the Chinese from Como.
Effi and Valentina make love in front of the Chinese, to make him have fun.
Valentina accepts everything, but then repents and leaves the young woman.
A few days later Effi calls her, informing her that Mr. Ciu has been killed.
Valentina convinces Effi to return to Germany.

"Two flowers"
publication date: 1996
pencil and story: Guido Crepax
Valentina is working in the studio with two models, Matilde and Alice.
Valentina is always aggressive with her models and pushes them to pretend sexual assault in front of the camera.
Suddenly they are interrupted by the phone call from Matilda's man, which ruins the atmosphere.
A short time mouse Matilde informs Valentina that Alice has been beaten and disfigured by her man and will no longer be able to pose for a few months.
A few days later the man shows up in the studio, looking for Valentina.
Adriano Levercuni is angry with her, for not having immediately passed his woman on the phone.
The man attacks her and tries to take off her panties, but she objects and asks for Cecco's help.
When the colleague comes to the rescue, however, Valentina has made peace with Adriano, as if nothing had happened.
A few days later Adriano invites her to his house for a bridge game and she accepts.
Alice is present and plays with them.
The atmosphere is morbid and it is clear that the game is just an excuse.
Slowly Valentina gives in and agrees to be tied up by Alice, while Adriano watches.
Before things degenerate, Matilde arrives, who saves Valentina.
In the fight that follows Adriano kills Matilde and Alice shoots Adriano.
Valentina and Alice leave the house together.
