After the "War of Armor" Tony Stark is haunted by nightmares.
In the dream he has to face the greatest threat, himself.
Upon awakening Tony understands that he will have to live forever with his wits and with the consequences of his inventions.

The deltoids created by HYDRA continue their mysterious plan to resurrect the Third Reich.
The deformed deltoid Lump is brought by Schmidt to the HYDRA base, where they begin to study him.
Schmidt is owned by the still unknown HYDRA leader.
Meanwhile, Nick Fury gathers his former SHIELD agents and begins the hunt for skull killers.
The group is joined by Alexander Goodwin Pierce, the last agent trained by Nick Fury, and the deltoid who survived the fall of the SHIELD.
Together they reach Nina Network, another ex-SHIELD agent with telepathic powers.
The telepathic bond between the deltoid and Lump attracts the Skull Killers, who attack Fury and kidnap the deltoid.
