The story begins with a flashback of Thanos, as he is about to vivisect his mother.
Soon after, he and Doom Supreme attack Mount Avengers.
The base features Valkyrie, Namor, Black Panther and the last surviving Deathlok.
Namor attacks Thanos, while the others defend themselves from Doom.
Despite the best efforts Mount Avengers falls and Deathlok with him.
