The miniseries tells the adventures of Thor, in the "Ultimate" version, which inspired most of the elements included in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
In the third chapter of the miniseries we witness the Ragnarok, the end of Asgard.
The only god to survive is Loki, who is imprisoned inside the world tree by Odin, before he too is killed by the king of the ice giants (Loki's half-brother).
Pacheco's style is pleasant, as always. The story is quite original and of quality.

The miniseries tells the adventures of Thor, in the "Ultimate" version, which inspired most of the elements included in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Returned to the present, it is revealed that Dr. Blake is actually Balder and that he and Thor are reborn on earth as humans, but without powers.
It will be the super soldier project that will give power to Thor. Once empowered he undertakes, with Balder at his side, to improve the world with his powers, until Loki (by Helmut Zola, the real Baron Zemo) is freed.
At this point, Thor accepts Nick Fury's offer to join the Ultimates (the Avengers of this reality), against Hulk.
Pacheco's style is pleasant, as always. The ending of the miniseries is rather disappointing.
