Thor is furious at Jane Foster’s immediate abandonment and decides to take a trip to India.
An old professor of his, Shecktor, is doing research on cobras, aided by his assistant Klaus, a former prisoner.
Klaus is jealous of his success and decides to have him bitten by a cobra, making it look like an accident.
He too gets bitten by the same cobra, but first he took the antidote.
When Donald Blake learns of what has happened, he flew over to Professor Shecktor, who was dying
The professor informs him that the released cobra was radioactive and Klaus has acquired the snake's powers.
Thor rushes to the United States to stop the killer.
The Human Cobra has many gadgets related to snakes and can walk on walls (ok ... we are in the 60s! A little tolerance !!).
He manages to escape Thor and, by chance, joins Dr. Andrews and his assistant Jane Foster, for another antidote to snake venom.
Dr. Andrews quickly gives in to his threats, disgusting Jane.
Upon Thor's arrival, the Cobra takes Jane as a hostage.
Thor manages to save her, but the Cobra escapes.
Jane Foster quits Dr. Andrews and returns to Donald Blake.

"The mysterious Mister Hyde!"

Calvin Zabo has a grudge against Donald Blake, who didn't hire him as an assistant.
In fact, Donald already knew his history as a thief and con man.
Inspired by Robert Luis Stevenson's short story "Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde", Zabo creates a formula to transform into a stronger and more evil version, Mister Hyde! (we are always in the 60s ...)
While Thor tries to get Odin to let him marry Jane Foster, Hyde attacks his study and terrifies Jane.
Donald Blake confronts him, but ends up falling out the window.
Thor reassures Jane about the doctor's safety and discovers how much she is in love with him.
Mister Hyde swears revenge on Thor.
The next day Thor robs a bank!

New Asgard's Tale.
The Norns see into Thor's future and announce that he can only wield Mjolnir when he meets death.
Back in Asgard, he discovers that Balder has been attacked and Sif (presented here as Balder's sister) kidnapped by the Storm Giants.
Thor lifts Mjolnir in order to save her, defeats the giants and reaches King Rugga, who wanted to kidnap her in order to obtain immortality from Hela.
Thor joins Hela and offers her his life in exchange for Sif's safety.
Hela is moved by his sacrifice and lets them go.

New Asgard's Tale.
Thor receives from the King of the Dwarves, Sindri, the magical ship Skipbladnir, which can be carried in his pocket but grows large when needed.
With the magical ship Thor embarks on a dangerous journey up to King Mirmir, keeper of the fountain that feeds all the oceans of the world.
He gives him a branch of Yggdrasil which, immersed in the fountain, transforms an Alder and an Ash on Midgard, giving life to Aske and Embla respectively, the first human beings.
This is the Norse version of the birth of Adam and Eve, of course!

Odin must choose the keeper of the Rainbow Bridge, protector of Asgard.
The choice must be made between Agnar the Fierce, Groton the Agile or Heimdall the Faithful.
Agnar has powerful lungs, capable of blowing the horn of Asgard (the Dragon).
Groton is capable of taking on many giants with his agility.
Heimdall can hear noises from a great distance and see things that others cannot.
Odin chooses Heimdall the Faithful.

"Heimdall the Guardian"

New Asgard's Tale.
King Brimer and Queen Nedra want to beat Heimdall, so they send a creature of the air, Vanna, to humiliate him.
Although Heimdall cannot see her, he senses the danger and warns Odin.
The Father of All manages to capture Vanna and thanks Heimdall for his prudence.
