The High Evolutionary, their creator, is engaged in the process of evolving a new "new man", using a wolf.
Thor discovers that Jane Foster has been hired to educate the "new men" of Wundagore, all created from different animals and evolved into human form.
However, the latest creation of the High Evolutionary is evil and wants to destroy all forms of life.

Tales of Asgard.
Hogun and his companions find a fellow citizen tortured and dying.
Before dying he reveals to him that his executioner is Mogul, that Hogun reveals that he knows as a mortal enemy.
The Mogul himself appears and confronts them, aided by the demon Jinni, at his service.
Thor and the others offer to help find him, in the mountain where he is hiding.
It turns out that Hogun has origins in Middle Eastern mythology, as Mogul is clearly an evil sheikh and Jinni his genie of the lamp!
