Thor reaches Midgard in search of Sif, prisoner of Ulik and the Trolls.
The strength of the Trolls led by King Geirrodur is due to the superior technology of a being held captive, Orikal, forced to serve them.
Orikal comes from another dimension and is held back by the flames of the Troll foundry.
Thor confronts Ulik and manages to free Sif, but Mjolnir is stolen by the Trolls.

The Collector is taken by surprise by Goliath's new powers.
The Avengers defeat the Beetle and force the Collector to flee, but Goliath collapses from the effort.
