Balder and Lady Sif arrive in Rings-Fjord and face the Enchanters.
They control the Talismen, very powerful and sentient amulets.
Their names are Magnir, Forsung and Brona.
Thanks to the Talismens, they easily defeat Balder and Lady Sif, who run to Earth in search of Thor's help.

Captain America and Hawkeye are prisoners of the Living Laser.
Goliath manages to save them at the last moment.
The Living Laser meanwhile holds Wasp captive, hoping to seduce her, as she negotiates a coup on the Costa Verde.
The Living Laser takes power on Costa Verde and the Avengers take action against him.
During the battle, the Living Laser is involved in an explosion, apparently dead.
The Avengers leave power in the hands of the new government and return home.

Scarlet Witch returns to the Avengers, seeking help to save her brother.
She tells Captain America that the European village where they were staying during their convalescence was visited by a giant flying saucer.
Quicksilver entered the spaceship and never got out.
Hawkeye introduces Black Widow as a possible new Avenger, but Goliath is against it.
Despite this, they all leave for Europe to help Quicksilver.
They manage to enter the spaceship, which has developed underground in the village and holds the mayor hostage.
The spaceship identifies itself as Ixar, coming from the Sirius solar system.
Ixar shows that he is holding Scarlet and Quicksilver captive.
Captain America admits that he always suspected the Wanda that came to base was an android.
