The protagonist of the story, Ralph, is obsessed with a woman who was introduced to him at a gala, but who ignores him.
Thanks to a strange ring she wears, he discovers that she's part of a private club dedicated to bdsm practices.
He manages to enter thanks to his friendships, but she continues to ignore him, then disappears.
Ralph can't find peace and looks for her everywhere.
He finally finds her and talks to her, but she rejects him as a slave, not a dom.
He convinces her with the whip to deserve his dominion, but when he gets it, he feels he has lost.
Particular and easily recognizable style, that of Coq (Luis García Gallo, Spain 1907-2001).
Even if the drawings are exclusively in black and white, the use of charcoal is exploited to the maximum for effective shadow play.
The story is well curated and goes deep into the mind of the protagonist and the charm of bondage.
