Thor is contacted by Rigel's Tana Nile, who informs him of a great danger to the Galaxy.
Odin is also informed by the Recorder of the same danger.
During the trip to Rigel Thor sees the spaceships of the survivors of the attacks of Galactus, the devourer of Worlds.
Thor has heard of it before, but he believed it to be a legend.
Thor and the Recorders are sent to the Black Galaxy, where Galactus is also headed.
Galactus, prey of hunger, attacks Ego, the living planet.
Galactus is finally officially presented, already glimpsed in “Il mitico Thor nr. 33”, but only for a cartoon.

Magneto and Toad take Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to the island created by the Lord of Magnetism.
In the heart of the island he has created a machine capable of producing energy from magnetic conduction.
To convince the two Avengers to ally with him, he takes them to the UN building, where he asks for permission to found a mutant nation.
In the ensuing chaos, Wanda is smeared and Pietro agrees to ally with Magneto.
Meanwhile, on Mount Olympus, Hercules discovers that the titan Typhon is responsible for the disappearance of the gods, thanks to the destruction of the Temple of Prometheus.
After a fight, Hercules is exiled in turn to the dimension where the other Hellenic gods are.
