The Avengers come together to decide whether to include Vision in their ranks.
First of all they have to discover his origins.
At first Vision only remembers waking up to Ultron, who claimed to have created him.
The solar energy that powers him, however, is reminiscent of a project Henry Pym was working on, but which he does not remember where it ended up.
The Avengers reach Pym's abandoned laboratory, where he is able to access his memories thanks to a machine.
Pym created Ultron, who immediately rebelled and attacked him, depriving him of the memories of his existence.
The laboratory kept the mental patterns of Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man, recorded immediately after his death.
The Avengers conclude that Vision possesses those blueprints and therefore is worthy of joining the Avengers.
