The series tells the adventures of the Ultimates, the Avengers of the “Ultimate” version, which inspired most of the elements included in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Last chapter of the series, in which the Hulk and the Ultimates win the battle against the chitauri and save the world.
In the movie "Avengers" Iron man saves New York from an atomic explosion by throwing the bomb through the Tesseract portal at the chitaurian ship...
Here he asks Thor to teleport the bomb to an uninhabited planet of another dimension.
The story ends with the celebrations at the White House, the separation of Janet and Hank Pym and the beginning of a relationship between Janet and Steve Rogers.
Overall, the story remains interesting, even if proposed over a very long period of time.

Seven-episode miniseries, chronicling the battle between the Ultimates with Spider-man and the Sinister Six (Doctor Octopus, Goblin, Elektro, Sandman, Kraven the hunter and Spider-man).
The prologue witnesses the arrest of Elektro while (naked) tries to escape from the hospital after being defeated by Spider-man.
Bachalo's drawings are not enough to make a rather meager prologue interesting.
