Book of 64 pages, in color, which tells the story of Falka, an Amazon, after the events proposed in the "Lost Horizons" series.
Falka is on the run and heading towards the southern part of the planet Alphard IV.
Along the way, he comes across an expedition of modern researchers.
As she watches them she is attacked by a group of Crashtas bandits, who attempt to rape her.
The men of the expedition intervene to save her and bond in particular with Brad (a friend of her protector Will).
Returning to travel alone, Falka reaches a swamp located exactly halfway between the lands of the north and those of the south.
Inside they save the life of a young man who is about to be sacrificed and they flee together with his sister.
During the escape they become separated and Falka is rescued from the quicksand by the men of the village.
The village is protected by a mercenary, Shere Khan, with tiger eyes (in fact, it has the name of the tiger protagonist of Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book").
Back in the village Falka notices that there are no women around and gets suspicious.
The boy comes back to save her and reveals how in the village they sacrifice girls in their religious rites.
Shere Khan tracks them down and fights Falka, who appears to be triumphant, until more priests arrive.
A prisoner, Falka witnesses the sacrifice of another girl, who is then eaten.
Shere Khan admits he doesn't like the conduct of the village, but he's just doing his job.
Falka is freed by Brad and the boy, then chaos ensues.
The boy sacrifices himself to save his sister, who then dies by killing the priest.
Before leaving, Brad recovers a mysterious crystal, the real reason for their expedition.
Falka greets him and continues on her way.
