The misadventures of Lucio, transformed into a donkey by a witch, after his first escape from the bandits' den.
He and Carite are caught almost immediately and punished.
To save them comes Tlepolemo, a friend of Carite who pretends to be a brigand.
However, Lucio's misfortunes are not over.
First he ends up tied to a millstone to grind the grain, then entrusted to a sadistic boy to carry the wood.
After other changes of ownership he ends up in the service of Sira, with whom he discovers sexual perversions.
It will be Juno's final intervention to bring him back to his humanity.
