Spider-Man and Anna Maria manage to avoid being possessed by Superior Spider-Boy's spiders and prepare to stop him.
Peter wants to use Octavius' telepathic helmet to reverse the process, but first he must face Robbie Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson and Aunt May, who are possessed by Octavius.
Spider-Man manages to stop them without hurting them, thanks to the help of Doctor Octopus' old arms.
Meanwhile, Otto Octavius has reunited with Superior Spider-Boy and appreciates the developments of his mind, wanting to expand them to the entire world with Supernova's energy.

Anna Maria is captured and handed over to Doctor Octopus.
Spider-Man manages to free Supernova, foiling his plans to take control of the entire world.
When Doctor Octopus believes that Anna Maria is also possessed by his mind, he uses the helmet to erase all connections.
The process causes Otto Octavius to lose his memories again, up until before he merged with Spider-Man.
Supernova is allowed to leave.
