1943, during the Second World War.
The supreme soldier, Sergeant Szardos (the same surname as the witch who raised Nightcrawler) uses the Eye of Agamotto to fight the occult Axis forces.
He's facing a submarine possessed by a demon.
The eye of Agamotto was entrusted to him by the Ancient.
The demon is revealed to be Mephisto himself.
Thanks to the help of the Avengers, who act in secret, however, he manages to exorcise the demon and reunite with his team, The Secret Invaders.
The group includes a young Blade, Ghost Rider (who drives a tank) and War-Thing (Man-Thing).

There is an overweight man who was abused as a child and locked up in a mental asylum.
Finally, there is a soldier, who has undergone genetic experiments, has adamantium claws and a flag tattooed on his face.
After several attempts they team up and manage to escape, only to discover that it was a test studied by other Captain Americas.
Tony Stark (Ant-Man), Deathlok and Ghost Rider control everything from the operations room.
