A 62-page color book that tells the story of Barbara, a young woman in a future post-apocalyptic world.
Juan Zanotto has set many stories in this future, each with its own independent life.
The style is typical of adventure comics from the 70s - 80s (in Italy they were published in weekly magazines such as Skorpio, Lanciostory, Monello, etc.).
As in the movies of those years, the story is slightly erotic (less than others by the same author).
A few female nudes and hints of sexual intercourse, never shown graphically.
Barbara is about to marry a young man from her clan, but their law provides for 'Yus Primae Noctis' with the high priest.
The girl rebels and kills the priest, then having to flee.
She is chased by her clan and ends up in the hands of the Adria, an alien race that has an underwater colony in nearby swamps.
He manages to escape again and lives other adventures in this wild world (some drawings reveal that it is the planet Earth).
A beautiful, timeless story.
