This story of Barbarella is decidedly realized in later times than the first, mythical, volume.
First of all, it is in color and the style is slightly more explicit than the original.

Barbarella is hired to awaken a human scientist by three of her colleagues, who want to steal his secrets.
Barbarella tracks Browningwell in the dream universe and ends up falling in love.
Together they hide from the three scientists and continue Browningwell's goal of creating a masterpiece, to receive a galaxy as a prize.
Barbarella also realizes her personal masterpiece, getting pregnant by the man
Meanwhile, Browningwell builds a giant version of Barbarella, in orbit on the planet that hosts them (the other moon in the title).
After other catastrophic hardships, they both end up awakening to find their baby, Little Fox, on Earth.
