Captain America lets Dragon Man go to follow him and be led by Machine Smith.
When he enters the base he must face an army of robots, some with the appearance of superheroes, many with the appearance of Machine Smith.
Eventually he realizes that Machine Smith exists only as software and that he wanted his help to die.

The Avengers are looking for new members.
The new group begins to acclimate to the coexistence, with Jarvis who is shocked by the uninhibited attitude of Tigra and Yellowjacket who begins to manifest violent attitudes against the Wasp.
Gorn and Unnea, a strange medieval-looking couple, go down to the city.
They are obviously disoriented by modernity, so much so that Gorn loses control and ends up killed by some agents.
Unnea, who turns out to be a witch, is furious at the death of her beloved.
The Avengers confront her, but then Captain America realizes she's just reacting to the pain and they stop.
Unnea leaves the city in flight and disappears, without explaining where they came from.

Aurora is attacked and instinctively uses her powers to defend herself.
Wolverine witnesses the attack and invites her to join Alpha Flight.

Inside the Master of the World base, Aurora is showing symptoms of instability, caused by claustrophobia.
Meanwhile, the Master reveals to Marinna and her two unexpected guests (Sub-Mariner and the Invisible Woman) the origins of Marinna: it is an alien race that has sent eggs all over the universe to conquer it.
Snowbird intervenes and frees Marinna, while the Master of the World tries to escape.
