Hank Pym is in crisis due to abandonment by the Avengers and his wife.
Meanwhile Ghost Rider attacks Warren Worthington III, aka Angel, to challenge him to a speed race.
Angel attacks him for putting his girlfriend in danger, but ends up burned.
The Avengers attack Ghost Rider, but it is Angel's intervention that convinces him to stop, repressing the Spirit of Vengeance.

Snowbird confronts Kalomaq and defeats him.
Very particular the ending of Byrne, which practically leaves all the cartoons blank, showing only the clouds, since Kalomaq blinded Snowbird with a snowstorm.

Northstar accompanies his sister Aurora to Dr. Blossom, a psychiatrist.
The doctor can't help her with her split personality.
After a fight with a pickpocket, Aurora's mischievous personality re-emerges.
Shortly after, they are joined by Raymonde, Northstar's former lover (only a friend, in the version of the time), who asks for help for a criminal who persecutes him.
When they encounter the criminal, St. Ives, he kills Raymonde with a simple touch and kidnaps Aurora.
