In this story, Captain America deals with a sensitive topic (for the times, at least): homosexuality.
It is not said openly, but it is obvious that his childhood best friend, Arnie, is gay and lives with a man who has now disappeared.
They actually blackmailed him to lure Cap into a trap, but he doesn't feel like betraying him and warns him.
The rescue succeeds, with some difficulty.
The couple reunites with an embrace (It's 1982, after all!).

Hank Pym starts working for Egg Head and the Lords of Evil.
Meanwhile, She-Hulk has become human again after the clash with Radioactive Man, who has absorbed gamma radiation into her body.
Hawkeye takes care of curing her, making her angry.
Hank betrays his new allies, thanks to a machine of his own invention, shortly before the arrival of the Avengers.
Eventually Egg Head dies at the hands of Hawkeye.

Marrinna leaves Puck to search for her race, but after finding it she transforms into a killer monster who attacks him.
Namor attacks Puck, thinking he wants to hurt Marinna.
Elizabeth shows up in the study of her father, Shaman.
Namor and Puck are knocked out by the Master of the World, who still controls Marinna.
