Captain America and Nomad attack the Stane Industry to retake the shield.
He has to collide with an employee in armor made with a prototype of the metal of the shield, but it is imperfect.
The scientist, MacLain, is released.

The Avengers are still in the Skrull empire and agree to use their technology to track down Nebula.
The scientist in charge, however, sends them to a part of the empire where the Skrulls imitate the Earth of the 1930s (gangsters, etc.).
Here is also hiding Prince Dezan, a prisoner of the Skrulls just evacuated from the "Fifth Column".
They want to use him to track down two of his old fugitive friends (one is the scientist who hijacked the Avengers).
The other, Zabyk the First, is a brilliant scientist who has decided to merge with armor and wants to stabilize the DNA of his race (he excluded).
The Fantastic Four (which includes She-Hulk) also join the clash.
However, Zabyk miscalculated and all the Skrulls are frozen in the form they assumed at the time.
