Captain America faces off against the Armadillo in the Avengers garden.
Once captured, the man recounts his origins, transformed by Dr. Karl Malus to save his sick girlfriend.
Armadillo reveals to Cap that Goliath was created by Malus.
Captain America lets Armadillo go and follows him to Doctor Malus.
Doctor Malus is set free, to save the life of Armadillo's girlfriend.
Meanwhile the snake society (Anaconda, Black Mamba, Adder and Sidewinder) is preparing to strike.

Madcap returns, who is tracked down to his lair by Nomad.
Madcap tells his origins: a normal man, very religious, exposed during a car accident to an experimental compound of the AIM, which made him crazy and immortal.
Sidewinder also recruits Cobra, Princess Python and the Constrictor, into his criminal group.
After a few petty crimes, Nomad decides to stop Madcap and succeeds, without Captain America having to help him.
