The Kang President tells his story to the captive Avengers.
His superiority over the others is due to the machines of Immortus, which he found dead in the distant future.
In reality it is a deception organized by Immortus himself, who used it to eliminate some divergent Kangs.
Ravonna agreed with Immortus.
Kang is destroyed and the Avengers sent home.

The story begins with the Nighthawk, visiting Professor Imam, in an alternate reality where there are no Avengers, but the Supreme Squadron (the Marvel version of the DC Universe).
Nighthawk is sent by Captain America, to ask for help from the Avengers against the domination of the Supreme Squadron in the other reality.
Captain America helps him track down some criminals of their size who have escaped to his own.
Nighthawk convinces them to join the resistance and they return to their reality.

The Avengers want to help Firebird understand the hallucinations that upset her.
The Rangers, the group she was part of, arrives at the base.
Firebird senses that only Shooting Star is owned and controls the other members.
After the inevitable confrontation, she discovers that her friend is actually a demon linked to Pandemonium.
