pencil and story: Guido Crepax

Inspired by the novel, Guido Crepax focuses his narration on two characters: Lucy and Johnathan Archer.
The first part is dedicated to Lucy, first fought by the love for three men, reciprocated by all, then victim of the vampire.
The young woman has no hope against Count Dracula and becomes a vampire herself, before being definitively beheaded.
We learn Johnathan's story through reading his diary, made by his wife Mina, who is also Lucy's best friend.
Johnathan is welcomed into the Earl's castle for a legal practice, but ends up being the victim, both as food and as a lover.
He also knows the count's three wives, beautiful naked and thirsty vampires.
He manages to escape only after the Count leaves for England.
After Lucy's death, he and Mina become the count's new prey, who seduces both of them.
Love for Mina will bring the end of the Count and his curse.
